The Best Weapon for Human to Eradicate Poliomyelitis

Sabin IPV is developed from attenuated Sabin strains polioviruses that are provided by WHO, which avoids potential biosafety risks by the use of wild type strains and could be manufactured under level 2 biosafety circumstance.

The use of inactivated vaccine absolutely eliminates the incidence of vaccine-associated paralytic poliomyelitis (VAPP) and vaccine-derived poliovirus (VDPV). It makes the Sabin IPV has the characteristics of attenuation and inactivation, which is called double lock.

Sabin IPV can induce protective antibodies against all epidemic wild polio virus strains and most VDPV strains. The GMT are all significantly higher than protective level (GMT>8).
